Red Cross Preparedness virtual presentations - FREE
posted 7 months ago by email@example.com from Douglas County COAD
March is Red Cross Month and in honor of this, we are hosting a series of emergency preparedness presentations!
As we look back on the last 6 months, the Red Cross has been very busy. Bookended by fire and ice, many of us, our friends, and our families have been impacted by extreme weather emergencies. During these experiences perhaps you or a loved one needed to use an emergency kit or act upon an emergency plan. Maybe you realized you were missing something from your kit or that your emergency plan could have been better. With these experiences top of mind, now is the time to think about our own level of emergency preparedness and how we can be better prepared for future emergencies. Were you prepared? Were your friends and loved ones prepared? Through our “Be Red Cross Ready” presentations, we can all learn how to be better prepared together!
Every Tuesday evening in March, from 6pm-7pm, we will be hosting a series of “Be Red Cross Ready” presentations focused on emergency preparedness. All presentations are free, virtual, and open to all.
